Our last campus celeb for the 2014/2015 year is…….*cue drumroll*……….Notashia Baughman!
Â
This senior chemistry major from Richwood, West Virginia has left her mark on Wesleyan’s campus.
Â
Along with her involvement in Zeta Tau Alpha, Student Senate, and the Academci Affairs committee, she was an important part of the Tri-beta honorary and the Benzene Ring chemistry club.
Â
She is the outgoing Vice President of benzene ring, which is a collegiate American chemistry society that strives to stir up excitement about science, both on campus and off. A key part of their organization is to speak with children about the importance of science and where it can take them in life, especially occupationally.Â
Â
Â
Not only is the Benzene Ring chemistry club a great community and educational experience, it is also a great networking opportunity. Like many honoraries and clubs on campus, membership can help you get a foot in the door for future internships and jobs, and start your career in the field.
Â
So jump on in and get involved with Benzene Ring by getting in touch with Notashia, or visit the WVWC webpage to find the names of other clubs on campus to plan for your schedule next year!
