RLCG Charles, what is your definition of “true beauty”?

Bobcat Beauty

Bobcat Beauty,

My definition of true beauty is this: You can only be as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside… Let me explain.

Beauty is not measured on a scale from one to ten. Beauty is the reflection of your heart and soul. Beauty is not something you can buy in a store. Beauty is not changing who you are as an individual. Beauty is that light that shines when you have confidence in yourself, when you let the whole world know that you have confidence. Beauty is not the amount of makeup you wear or how your hair looks, and beauty is not letting a guy dictate whether you’re beautiful. Beauty is knowing when the right guy sees your beauty and not your booty. Beauty is being able to walk around campus like long-hair-don’t-care-no-makeup-sweats-and-t-shirt… I know, I know, that sounds crazy, but that is what I call true beauty—to know that you can go out in public naturally, showing the world that you have confidence in yourself.

The society culture world we live in expects us (especially women) to be size zeros, to look like models with zero percent body fat, to be perfectly proportioned. They tell us that sexy is the new beautiful. I highly disagree with that. This type of “beauty” only shows that you’re sexually attracted to that person. So when a guy says, “Hey, sexy!” he might as well be saying, “Can I get in your pants?!” Do not let the world brainwash you to think sexy is the new beautiful. Having confidence is the new beautiful.

My final statement: you and only you can determine if you have beauty. No one else can tell you whether you meet the standard of being beautiful.
