Hello, lovely ladies! I hope all of you are having a marvelous Fall Break and are taking time to sit back and enjoy the gorgeous weather with a pumpkin spice latte in hand while you read about our latest and greatest. This week’s Campus Cutie is a fun-loving, free spirit with a lot of spunk. He is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. So, without further ado, I give you Samuel Henry Kessler!

Hobbies:Â Reading, watching movies, exercising, driving
Favorite quote or motto: “As you can see, I have memorized this utterly useless piece of information long enough to pass a test question. I now intend to forget it forever. You’ve taught me nothing except how to cynically manipulate the system. Congratulations.” -Calvin
Perfect date: I don’t know if it’s perfect, but I like to go for walks. We would go for a walk around town or a walk in the woods, and then we would find a nice place to sit down and chat and take in our surroundings.
Celebrity girl crush:Â Arianna Grande. I really dig girls who can sing.
Favorite TV show: Arrow/Flash. I’m a huge comic book nerd. Another honorable mention is The League.
Favorite food: Beef and noodles. It’s my favorite meal that my mom makes!
Â
Are you a good dancer? I have no rhythm, so I usually fall back on a little box step. But, no, I don’t think I’m a good dancer.
Do you have any pets? I have a timid little Puss in Boots-type cat named Bella (or Schmebe).
Where do you most want to travel? Everywhere. I just kind of want to start somewhere and wind up wherever.Â
Best asset:Â I like to look on the bright side of things in every situation.Â
Favorite book:Â Running Loose by Chris Crutcher. Makes me tear up every time.
Genie in a bottle, what are your three wishes? The ability to fix anything, breathing underwater, and an endless bag of Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles.
Â
Greatest moment at Wesleyan: Swimming conference my freshman year. We all had such a great time. I got my best time, which wasn’t good, but I was floored. And on the bus ride back we were all exhausted and singing songs. It was a great time!
Most embarrassing moment: I don’t think I should admit my most embarrassing moment, but one of them is when I tried to start a slow clap in the cafeteria at school. I stood up on my chair, started clapping, but nobody was having it. I sat right back down and tried to pretend that I didn’t just do that.Â
Greatest achievement:Â Any time I get to help someone else is an achievement in my book!Â
Advice to your younger self: Even though I’m too stubborn to listen, I’d tell myself to quit being such an idiot.
A question to your future self: “What’s one thing I should avoid?”
