Being home for the summer is nice. You get to catch up with old friends, play with your dog, and eat your mom’s home cooked meals. However, if you are anything like us, you probably missed Xavier like crazy while you were gone. Here’s 25 of the many things we missed about X while we were gone:
Â
- Caf cookies
- Living just steps away from our best friends
- Xavier Basketball (seriously, November can’t get here soon enough)
- Walking across campus on a sunny day and seeing everyone you know hanging out outside
- Thursday nights out
- Our favorite club meetings
- Passing Father B and hearing him say, “Hello, saint!”
- Our gorgeous campus (especially the sunsets)
- Sesame chicken night in the caf
- Our favorite professors
- Stress-induced Netflix marathons with friends
- Randomly seeing the Blue Blob or D’Artagnan walking around
- Dana’s
- Taking lots of pictures throwing up an X
- Mass at Bellarmine
- Coffee Emporium
- Our dorm/home away from home
- Our roommate
- Having a second closet because of our roommate
- Being walking distance from Subway, Starbucks, Graeter’s, and Currito
- Late night study sessions with our friends and lots of caffeine in Alter
- Living so close to downtown Cincinnati
- Always having people to go to the caf, library, or Target with
- Chanting “let’s go X!” a minimum of once a week (although its usually way more)
- Living, learning, and being at the best school in the country
