I’m sure that graduation day is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions for me and others as well. I lived in Pennsylvania for a majority of these last four years, but I must say, it feels pretty good to be leaving. Not because of anything bad, but I’ve just really missed being close to and see my family, and celebrating birthdays with them.
I feel like I’ve missed a lifetime away from them. I can’t wait to hang out with them this summer as we all struggle to get our lives together. We will be traveling all over the East Coast to beaches, clubs, and the like. It’s going to be great to finally be home.
What I’m most excited about is not having to spend my nights studying and writing papers! My nights and my tears will finally be put toward something that doesn’t give me anxiety. I can’t even begin to tell you how many days and nights I’ve cried because I was worried about a class, grade, paper, or test. It’s a wonder my tear ducts haven’t dried up yet. They [my tears] will now be going towards movies and concerts.
I mean, that’s really it. I am excited to be going home and can’t wait to see my family and my pets! Here’s to graduating!
