There is nothing like local produce and food to brighten your hectic day. The New Eastern Farmers’ Market in York has got you covered for all things local and fresh. It is only open on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., but it is worth the time to sample all the homegrown fruits and veggies.
The New Eastern Farmers’ Market has an assortment of local produce, baked goods, meats, ice cream, cheeses, and many more. You can either do your grocery shopping or grab a quick bite to eat during your lunch break.
My favorite vendor is Kusty’s Corner Cafe which has the best baked chicken pies I have ever eaten. Kusty’s Corner Cafe has a variety of other foods, including homemade pies and soups. You can sit down to eat or get food to go.
The New Eastern Farmers’ Market is also home to a Bricker’s French Fries vendor so if you love their tasty fries you’ll be happy to know you can find them there.
