The long-awaited book-to-TV adaptation Daisy Jones & The Six is hitting Amazon Prime Video on March 3. The 2019 book was written by Taylor Jenkins Reid, whogained a lot of popularity on TikTok — or, more specifically, BookTok. Many of Reid’s fans considerThe Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo‘ to be her most popular book, and for many people, that was the first book they read by Reid.
The book is about the rise and fall of a fictional rock and roll band in the ‘70s called Daisy Jones & The Six. The story is written in an interview style and uncovers the band’s mysterious breakup.
The internet can’t contain its excitement for this television mini series, as fan accounts all over the world are making edits of the characters from the books. While I have yet to read the book, I am so excited to see how the show plays with fashion to emulate the free spirit of rock and roll in the 1970s.
Just from the trailers and teaser photos alone, I have a feeling Daisy Jones & The Six is going to have a major impact on fashion for the next few months. Here are 12 amazing ‘70s-inspired pieces to add to your closet in honor of Daisy Jones & The Six.
