New York City was bustling during the week of Sept. 7-13 with the return of New York Fashion Week — a highly-anticipated week that designers, celebrities, and fashion lovers count down to each year to witness the debut of new collections and celebrate the artwork of fashion. NYFW is the best time for fashionistas to experiment with new trends or styles, and the streets of NYC turn into a runway of their own.Â
New York Fashion Week brings in flocks of celebrities, influencers, and fashionable people to dazzle the streets of New York. Many celebrity looks had the internet buzzing, like Blake Lively at the Michael Kors show or Gigi Hadid and Naomi Campbell at the Victoria’s Secret World Tour show. Though to many, celebrities are the highlight of NYFW, the newest kids on the block who attended fashion shows were the young Gen Zers making names for themselves in the design world. As a Gen Zer myself, it makes me SO excited to see people from my generation making appearances at such influential fashion shows, especially since many of them rocked some of the coolest and trendiest looks.
