COPYCAT: How to Copy 5 Celebrity Outfits for Under $100

Fashion inspiration can come from all over, but there’s something about celebrity style that always makes us look twice. From red carpet looks to effortless street chic, we love seeing what the stars are wearing, and with a little help from HC, you can create those looks for yourself! We’re arming you with five celebrity looks and the secrets to putting them together for less than $100. Let’s get started!

Nina Dobrev

The neon dress is summer’s answer to a classic LBD. Fresh, bright, and strong, Nina Dobrev’s look exudes confidence. Textured pumps add elegance, and the pattern creates a welcome twist. A fresh face and beach waves keep this outfit from being too formal, making it equally appropriate for a networking event or dinner with friends!

Blue Cap Sleeve Pencil Dress: $30, New Look

Grid Waist Belt: $8.80, Forever 21

Cameron Pump: $49.95, Sole Society

Gwen Stefani

Leave it to our girl Gwen to mix up a bunch of trends and make it work for her! She starts with a casual khaki button-down, adds ripped boyfriend jeans, then finishes it all with edgy, red boots. While this look may look haphazard on others, it’s the proportions that make it all come together for Gwen. It’s a cool summer look that will easily take you through a day in the city or a visit to the coffee shop. We love this outfit’s relaxed vibe and ease, and we think you can rock it!

Khaki Studded Yoke Shirt: $21, Dorothy Perkins

Roll Cuff Boyfriend Denim Jeans: $38.98, maurices

Cutout Combat Boots: $36.80, Forever 21

Reese Witherspoon

If you’ve been looking for the perfect outfit to encapsulate the summer vibe, look no further than this example from Reese Witherspoon. The bold color of this day dress balances its loose silhouette, and low-key but fun sandals add a beach-y vibe. Well-placed accessories like face-framing shades make this look sunshine ready!

Full Tilt Breeze Sunglasses: $9.99, Tilly’s

Belted Woven Dolman Dress: $29.99, Charlotte Russe

Qupid Lenox Stud Sandals: $29.50, PacSun

Selena Gomez

Next time you’re caught in a frenzy of camera flashes, aim to wear something as chill and nonchalant as Selena Gomez—the camera will love you! There’s nothing to criticize and everything to emulate about this ensemble. A well-fitting pair of skinny jeans, comfy black tee, and expertly cut white blazer give off an air of confidence and a sense of control that’s totally awesome.

Three Quarter Roll Sleeve Blazer: $29.97, Nordstrom

Petite Linen Tee: $29.50, LOFT

Super Skinny Super Low Jeans: $19.95, H&M

Emma Roberts

We love this adorable look from Emma Roberts! Her white and pink dress is a textbook example of effective color blocking while her fierce black heels add some toughness. We would love to wear this for a dinner out or somewhere a little more upscale, like a theatre or cocktail lounge. To recreate this look, we’re using a blouse and top that look great together but can also be worn separately to create new outfits as well!

Sleeveless Shirt: $12.95, H&M

Pim + Larkin Neon Jacquard Pleated Skirt: $59, Piperlime

Anne Michelle Enzo 03 Black Patent, Velvet, and Glitter Heels: $25, LuLu*s
