Countdown: One Month Until Project Runway Returns!

Let the countdown begin! In a little under a month, Project Runway will return to Lifetime for its ninth season. So, what can you expect from Season 9? Collegiettes™ can expect the usual slew of challenges, guest judges, and catchphrases (“Make it Work!” and “Auf Wiedersehen”) but, of course, everything will be slightly bigger and better.
 
Instead of the customary sixteen contestants, Season 9 will start off with twenty budding fashion designers vying for a coveted spot on Project Runway. Although none of the challenges for this coming season have been revealed, we can be sure that there will be unexpected twists and obstacles for the designers to overcome. Big names in fashion, film, and television, such as Kim Kardashian, Zoe Saldana, and Christina Ricci, will be guest judges for the challenges alongside host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn, and regular judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors.
