I started wearing makeup when I was 13 and let me tell you, I’ve done my makeup everywhere. At the bathroom sink? Check. Sitting in front of a floor-length mirror? Check. A quality vanity with drawers to put my things in? Check. Now that I’m a college student and I’m constantly spending weekends back home, sleeping at my boyfriend’s apartment, and moving between dorms, apartments, and houses, the one method of organizing my makeup that has proven itself tried and true is a good ol’ makeup bag.

Whether you are thinking about splurging on new makeup products or you’re like me and like to throw all of your beauty products in one bag, a cute makeup bag that’s functional and spacious is essential. Nothing gets me more excited to do my makeup than seeing my products in a makeup bag that fits my aesthetic. With all of the options that are out there, it can feel overwhelming to find the one true makeup bag that speaks to you and gets the job done right. These cute makeup bags are guaranteed to keep your products organized and look adorable sitting on your bathroom sink or in your suitcase.

Tartan + Twine Double Zipper Organizer ($38)

If you have a small makeup collection or only keep the essentials in your bag, this bag fits a few brushes and products that will do the job. Overpacking? Don’t know her.

BAGGU Large Cosmetic Case ($42)

Available in five colorful patterns, this bag is both trendy and durable. Its large mouth allows you to see every product in your bag for easy access. It’s perfect if you love to stuff your bag full of anything that you might need to get ready.

Byootique Makeup Train Case ($35)

This bag is perfect for the girls who are aspiring influencers. It features adjustable dividers, so you’ll be able to fit any palettes, perfumes, and makeup brushes.

Paige Harper 2-Piece Clear Cosmetic Bag Set ($30)

If you like being able to see all of your makeup in your bag, this two-piece set is right up your alley. The smaller bag can be used to store those eyeliners and lip glosses that always end up at the bottom of your bag.

Sonia Kashuk Loaf Makeup Bag ($15)

While this bag may seem basic with its single pocket, the colorways are anything but. I can totally see this being a stylish travel bag for tropical summer vacations.

Caboodles Make Me Over Cosmetic Train Case ($60)

I bought this same Caboodle when I started college, and I haven’t looked back. It’s so easy to organize, access, and transport your makeup collection. While these were popular in the 2000s, they are definitely coming back, and I’m here for it.

Ulta Beauty Tie Top Makeup Organizer ($15)

What better way to see all of the products in your bag if you can just lay them out and tie them up? Perfect for when you’re sitting in front of the mirror or spreading your makeup out on the bathroom counter, this tie top bag is for the ones who are always changing up where they do their makeup. If you’re someone whose organizational habits are just keeping things in one place, this bag is for you.

H&M Large Two-tiered Toiletry Bag ($25)

H&M

This two-tiered makeup bag is trendy and functional, and would look so aesthetic on a vanity. The different tiers allow you to organize your products however you please while staying compact.

RIES The Essential Travel Vanity Bag ($65)

This bag is totally a dupe for the TikTok-viral Saie Vanity Case that’s been sold out for weeks. It has thick elastic bands inside to hold any bottled products to ensure they don’t spill in your bag.

Urban Outfitters Train Case Makeup Bag ($18)

I’ve definitely noticed quilted cosmetic bags start to trend and this Urban Outfitters bag is no exception. I’m not complaining, though — the soft and flexible fabric makes it easy to throw this bag anywhere without a second thought.

Victoria’s Secret 4-Piece Makeup Bag ($60)

I won’t lie, I’m still stuck on the VS train, and the glitz and glamour of the nostalgic dominance it had in the fashion and beauty industry. If you want to feel like a VS angel and keep all of your products organized, this travel case should be your next purchase.

CreateRuckus Vintage Art Cosmetic Pouch ($20)

I saved my favorite for last because, surprise! This is the exact makeup bag I own. It’s spacious, stunning to look at, and supports a small Etsy seller.
