This Fan Recreated Tom Holland’s GQ Photoshoot, But Like, Way Better

Don’t even call yourself a super-fan if you won’t do what Tori Bernal did for her favorite celebrity Tom Holland  (AKA Spider-Man, the friendly neighborhood superhero of our dreams). To get Holland’s attention, Bernal did the absolute most and recreated his entire summer 2017 GQ photoshoot. Now that’s dedication. Her motive? To meet the actor, obviously. 

Bernal is a 19-year old photographer from Phoenix, Arizona, which makes a lot of sense when you look at the quality of her photos and how much effort she put in to getting the perfect shots. She told Teen Vogue that she’s always been obsessed with celebrity fashion, so she took it upon herself to recreate this iconic fashion shoot. Bernal enlisted the help of mom and sister to recreate the “California poolside chic” Tom Holland scenes, and the rest is history.

Of course this entire scheme required tons of planning. Bernal explained, “I ordered a lot of the clothing off of Poshmark secondhand, and the blue suit was actually men’s pajamas. My mom helped me set up and took one of the photos. My sister helped me choose locations and take the other photos. Then she edited them to make sure they were perfect. It was a ton of teamwork!” Teamwork makes the dream work, right?

Unsurprisingly, her photos have gone viral on Twitter and Instagram, with over 115,000 likes across the board. First of all, impressive. Tons of other Tom Holland fans gathered in support of Bernal’s viral posts, which is expected considering he’s the sweetest guy around, so of course his fans are gonna be total sweethearts as well. Bernal was shocked that the pictures caught so much attention, but she was happy with all the support.

Fortunately, with the help of all the Holland fans constantly tagging the star in Bernal’s photos, Bernal reached her goal and got to meet the cutie himself. Then they lived happily ever after… at least, they got to meet and take a picture together – basically everyone’s happily ever after when it involves Tom Holland.
