Need Some Fourth Of July Nail Inspo? We Got You

Sweet summertime is in full swing, and it’s flying by with July already on the horizon. This summer, I’ve wanted to up my nail game by matching my newest manicures with the seasons and holidays, like using brighter colors and nail art I usually wouldn’t choose. So, I thought the Fourth of July would be an ample opportunity to find the cutest and most unique nail ideas to match the holiday.

When I think about Fourth of July nail ideas, I get stumped on how to make them unique when everyone will be aiming for the red, white, and blue nail combo. But don’t fear, I have gone down a rabbit hole in search of adorable nail ideas for the Fourth, both ranging from subtle, to loud and proud.

Here’s some nail inspo for the folks who want to match their mani with all of the Fourth of July festivities coming up. It’s time to get festive!

French tips

The classiest nail design is–of course–French tip because you have so much freedom with the colors and design. Wearing French tips for the fourth is a great option if you want a subtle nod to the upcoming holiday. I suggest three options: red French tips, royal blue French tips, baby blue French tips, or the whole trifecta of red, white, and blue French tips to embody our country’s colors.

Mismatched Nails

One of the newest (and beyond adorable) nail trends is the mismatched hand nails, so both hands have different nail colors or designs. With this nail idea, I’d take inspiration from @callahanrahm who got one hand with plain royal blue nails but on the other got white nails, covered in royal blue stars. I absolutely gasped when I saw this combo and immediately added it to my favorites.

Geometric Nails

I have been seeing so many geometric nail ideas for the fourth and these are top-tier! Each nail has a different design or color–these nails have a combination of solid red, star nail art, and a mix of French tips with flower designs. Talk about stunning and unique!

Dotted nails

Another idea I have constantly been seeing is dotted nails, which is perfect to use for the fourth since you have three colors to use to mix and match. For this nail inspo, have your nail be a solid color of red, white, or blue, and then follow up the nail dots from the two other colors. I am obsessed with the solid white nail with the red and blue dots. Super chic with a pop of color!

Starry designs

I love a good clean nail with popping nail art. This nail idea for the fourth is perfect for my simple girlies who don’t want too much color. You can opt for just white stars for a dreamy look or add red and blue stars for an extra pop!
