Honestly, I don’t know how Harry Styles even has time to breathe at this point. In between performing across the country in Love On Tour and promoting *both* of his movies (also, can we talk about that Don’t Worry Darling plot twist?!), the 28-year-old pop sensation has also somehow found time to create his very first makeup collection under his beauty brand, Pleasing. Here’s everything you need to know about the drop.
Pleasing Makeup Release Date
The makeup collection is set to launch on Sept. 29 at 12 p.m. EST, along with a new nail polish line and new merch. Styles is teaming up with emerging Paris-based fashion designer Marco Ribeiro — and this isn’t the first time the two have worked together. Styles has worn several of his pieces throughout Love On Tour, and the artwork for Harry’s House was also a collaborative effort with Ribeiro. On Sept. 27, Pleasing’s official Instagram account announced the collaboration, saying, “Our first-ever collaboration is a partnership with Brazilian-born, Paris-based fashion designer, Marc Ribeiro. Continuing our mission to bring together joyful experiences and stimulating products, this collaboration focuses on intense pigments and offers Pleasing’s first foray into makeup. Encapsulated across the entire Pleasing x Marco Ribeiro collection are shared touchpoints of creativity that align with Ribeiro’s colorful vision with that of our own.”
What’s In The Pleasing Makeup Collection?
The brand also shared in their post that the collaboration is limited-edition and “features a palette of Pressed Powder Pigments, a trio of Universal Cream Pigments, a multiuse Gloss Medium, and five unique new shades of nail polish.”
How Much Does The Pleasing Makeup Collection Cost?
The Pressed Powder Pigments palette, priced at $50, is made up of eight wet-to-dry colors and can be used with the Gloss Medium ($25) to make a more liquidy consistency, according to StyleCaster. The trio of Universal Cream Pigments come in a set and are priced at $40, with the shades Écoulement (a teal) and Soleil (a vibrant yellow) meant for anywhere on the face (including eyes!), and the shade La Vie En Rose Vif (a bright pink) designed for the lips and cheeks.
Along with the limited-edition makeup and nail polish collection, Pleasing is dropping two new sweatshirts, both priced at $110. The hoodies (which are 100% cotton, BTW) come in two different colorways: brown and yellow (MAIS) and pink and red (AMOR).
On Twitter, fans are sharing their excitement about the collection, but some have shared their criticism for the beauty brand’s high prices, with one user saying, “I shake my head at how well they’ve trained so many Harry Styles fans to pay ridiculous amounts of $ for anything Harry related. For example, the merch, Pleasing and concert prices.”
Since the collection is limited-edition, run (don’t walk, bestie!) to get your hands on it.
