Considering their global presence, a mainstream company like H&M should cater to all markets. While crop tops and see-through lace shirts may be popular in the United States, the same style doesn’t always fly for everyone. Cosmopolitan reports that as of May 3, H&M’s LTD Collection will feature modest clothing suitable for a wide variety of fashion tastes, available online in the United States. And if that’s not enough to get excited about, more styles will launch starting May 24, taking your fashion game even higher.Â
If you’re wondering whether modest fashion is still as gorgeous as any other style of clothing, newsflash: it is! H&M did a wonderful job at making modest fashion that babes with any aesthetic or style will appreciate, while still being inclusive of those who wear modest apparel for their culture. The line features silk, embroidery and beautiful silhouettes that hit the body just right without showing off a whole lot of skin.
H&M’s head of design Pernilla Wohlfahrt spoke about the line to Glamour, saying, “Today H&M is present in 69 markets, and we want to be diverse and inclusive to all the markets where we operate. We want to be able to offer something for everyone.”Â
This modest fashion line is a big step for H&M as the company also works to recycle old clothing and offer more sustainable ways to shop fast-fashion. Finding ways to make a huge fashion company more inclusive of all people is extremely important, and making these looks killer and stylish AF is an even bigger plus.
