Even though TikTok dubbed this manicure as lip gloss nails, you won’t actually be applying your fave Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb all over your nails. (But wouldn’t that be a cool hack?) This manicure basically mimics the shininess of lip gloss with nude polish and a jelly-like top coat for extra glossiness. This look can be done on any nail shapes, and looks amazing on all skin tones. It’s also the perfect winter-to-spring transition nail shade!
Achieving this glossy manicure is so easy. First, prepping your nails is super important. You want your polish to be smooth, so filing your nails to your preferred shape and buffing them will make a huge difference! Next, choose a sheer glossy pink shade (or any glossy-sheer polish closest to your natural nail color) as your base. I love OPI’s Bubble Bath ($12) or Bare My Soul ($14), Essie’s Mademoiselle ($7), IBD’s Just Gel Polish in Seashell Pink ($14) if you prefer gel, or Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab Pro Nail Polish in Naked. The last step is to add an extra shiny top coat like OPI’s Brilliant Top Coat ($14) or Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish Shiny Top Coat ($9) in two or three coats to get that jelly-like shine.Â
