Birkenstock clogs have made an unexpected comeback this year, with celebs like Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, and Hillary Duff all reviving the style this season. And while the comfortable yet stylish shoe definitely isn’t new (I’ve unearthed plenty of clog outfit inspo from the ‘90s online), it did take me a considerable amount of time to try the trend out for myself. But finally, after coming across the many different styling possibilities for this cute shoe on Pinterest, I caved and purchased a Birkenstock clog dupe! (The OG Birkenstock suede clogs are usually sold out, and the ones I got are way cheaper, if you’re on a budget.)
If you’re still on the fence about this fall staple, take a look at how I styled suede clogs for one week. You’ll be surprised by the endless options (I know I was)!
Day 1: Faux Leather
It’s officially fall — time to break out the coats that’ve been hanging in your closet in anticipation of this lovely season! The suede clogs pair perfectly with a beige turtleneck, light wash jeans, and a faux leather jacket.
Day 2: Mini Skirt and Sweater
It was a warm autumn day when I put together this second look, so I was able to play around with this brown pinstripe mini skirt! The dark brown clogs, brown sweater, and beige undershirt created the cutest monochrome look for fall.
Day 3: Trousers
If you like a good trouser, try pairing them with suede Birkenstock clogs! In this look, I loved the structured yet casual vibe pairing the different pieces gave. The outfit features wide leg trouser pants and a plain linen tee to create a simple and chic look!
Day 4: Bodysuit and Jeans
By day four of styling my Birkenstock clog dupes, I had fallen in love! Although trendy, the shoe proved to be both versatile and practical after pairing them with the famous Zara straight leg jeans, a bodysuit, and a linen flannel jacket.
Day 5: Overalls
Clogs and a cute pair of overalls are the perfect combo. I thrifted this particular pair, but I’m dying to get my hands on these brown overalls to match my Birkenstock dupes!
Day 6: Denim Bermuda Shorts
It’s not too late to hop on the Bermuda shorts train! For fall, pair the style with an oversized chunky sweater (I’m obsessed with these 30 sweaters) and your clogs!
Day 7: Midi skirt
If you couldn’t already tell, classic white ankle socks are my go-to! For a cute and casual fall outfit, grab your favorite midi skirt and plain top. For this look, I thrifted a stunning neutral midi and knit tank!
