Ice Spice’s Met Gala 2023 Look Is Sleek & Chic

The princess of hip-hop attended the 2023 Met Gala for the first time, and she did not disappoint. Ice Spice was invited to the 2023 Met Gala as a special guest by none other than former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, according to TMZ’s hip-hop column on May 1. According to reports, she was expected to wear a special Balmain item. All the rumors and fan theories aside, we are now able to see Ice Spice’s iconic look in all its glory — and I’m honestly obsessed.

Spice not only rocked the carpet nearly nine months after the release of her mainstream single “Munch” (which I’m still not completely sure what that means), but it also came ahead of her collaboration agreement with Vogue and eBay, which was published the same day as the event. The Ice Spice’s Iconic Collection partnership includes the sale of some of Karl Lagerfield’s most memorable pieces and accessories for the best price or offer available.

Ice Spice makes her Met Gala debut in a white sequined gown with contouring cuts that stretch down the full length of the gown. She accessorized with a film camera-clutched purse, and her signature ginger, short afro haircut was also transformed into a straightened side-swept look.

When she discussed her outfit with Lala further, she confirmed that her gown was a Balmain, and that it was a last-minute look. Looking this good at the last minute? She’s an icon for that.

Although this is Ice Spice’s first Met, I have reason to believe it’s not her last! I know we have to wait until next May to see the next gala, I can’t wait to see what she’ll do next year. Until then? Catch me looking at all of her red carpet looks from now on.
