Jessica Simpson knows a thing or two about beauty and fashion. After all, the beautiful singer, actress, and clothing designer traveled the world to discover what women will do for beauty in her VH1 show, “The Price of Beauty.” She also knows a lot about giving back to others, having been involved with the “A Beautiful Me” campaign— a collaborative movement with Operation Smile to help youth believe in themselves and use their personal strength to change the world—since fall of 2009.
Â
So it’s no surprise that Jessica is giving back even more with her latest charitable initiative, the “Show Me Your Blues” campaign. This fall, Jessica launched her new Jeanswear Collection, and with every pair of JessicaSimpson Jeanswear purchased, Jessica is inviting customers to upload a picture of themselves in their new denim to the Jessica Simpson Collection Facebook application for “Show Me Your Blues.  For every image added, Jessica will donate one dollar to the A Beautiful Me movement.
Â
Participants so far include Jessica’s celebrity sister, Ashlee Simpson Wentz, celebrity brother in-law, Pete Wentz, mom, Tina Simpson, and best friend CaCee Cobb.
Â
You can get involved by simply uploading a photo of yourself to help Jessica raise money and awareness for her charity foundation, “Operation Smile.” Â Come on lovely ladies, show Jessica your blues!
