Throughout 2023 — and leading into 2024 — women have been gaining well-deserved attention in male-dominant spaces, with one of the biggest being the NFL. With the Super Bowl matchup between the San Francisco 49ers vs the Kansas City Chiefs coming up on Feb. 11, there have been two leading women the media can’t stop talking about (and for good reason). Of course, Taylor Swift is a constant topic of conversation, especially considering her upcoming Eras Tour shows in Tokyo between Feb. 7-10 and the possibility of her racing back to the U.S. to see her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play in the Super Bowl. And then there’s another leading lady who has taken social media by storm with her custom outfits worn by WAGs throughout the NFL, and her name is Kristin Juszczyk.
Kristin Juszczyk is the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, but more importantly, she’s made a name for herself as a fashion designer with her iconic custom NFL apparel — created to be both stylish and comfortable. Juszczyk has had such success with creating her own clothing, both for herself and for other football fans, that she struck a licensing deal with the NFL, giving her the freedom to use NFL logos in her designs for both women’s and men’s clothing.
To celebrate Juszczyk and her accomplishments, it’s only fair to look back and swoon over some of her best NFL designs this season.
- Taylor Swift & Brittany Mahomes
-
During a Jan 13. Kansas City Chiefs game, both Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes kept warm with matching puffer jackets with their beaus’ names and numbers. Juszczyk even added small details to make the jackets more sentimental, embroidering the names of Brittany Mahomes’s family members (Patrick, Sterling, and Bronze) to her puffer jacket and “Chief’s Kingdom” to Swift’s.
- Taylor Lautner
-
Taylor Lautner got the ultimate surprise when Juszczyk had FedEx hand-deliver a jacket to him on the field at the Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams game on Jan 14. The apparel was made with two Aidan Hutchinson (Lions defensive end) jerseys and turned it into one epic letterman-inspired jacket.
- Olivia Culpo
-
Juszczyk can truly take any piece of 49ers merch and make it even more fashionable. Juszczyk made Olivia Culpo, the fiancé of 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, a strapless corset top from a 49ers sweatshirt. The corset was paired with matching gloves made from the sweatshirt’s sleeves, which were embroidered with “McCaffrey” on the side.
- Kristin Juszczyk Herself
-
We can’t forget the amazing ensembles created and worn by Juszczyk herself, like the blazer she wore in support of her husband during the NFC Divisional Playoffs. The blazer was covered with the “Juszczyk” name and the number 44. My other favorite Juszczyk design is her latest work, a floor-length puffer jacket inspired by her husband’s jersey, paired with leather pants and a black Prada tube top. And once the 49ers won the NFC Championship game, she rolled the sleeves up to reveal the phrase “Super Bowl Bound” on each arm. To me, this was one of the most iconic WAG outfits I’ve seen in the NFL.
