TBH, if Lizzo told me to eat spiders or jump off a bridge, I would do it in a heartbeat — and now that she’s recommending this $9 face mask, I’m running to get my credit card. On Oct. 21, Lizzo took to TikTok to debut her nighttime “get unready with me” skincare routine — and included in the celeb’s lineup was the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Serum Mask.
Lizzo walked through her skincare routine in front of the camera, showing off products that were recommended to her by her makeup artist, Alexx Mayo. The “About Damn Time” singer admitted that she’s been experiencing a lot of “itchiness” and “irritation” with her skin given the stress of touring and wearing a lot of products on her skin — and honestly, skin issues are no fun. Between the weather getting colder here in New York City (my California skin just isn’t used to this) and the usual daily stressors, my skin hasn’t been doing so hot, either (which is totally normal, bestie!).
At the end of her skincare routine — following a face wash and rescue mask — Lizzo pulled out the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Serum Mask and placed it on her face (also, how does she still look amazing with this sheet mask on?). The sheet mask is soaked with tiger grass serum, which essentially helps calm down irritation, reduce redness, and revive the skin with moisture. And fun fact: Tiger grass is actually a plant that tigers in the Asian wetlands have rolled around in for centuries to help care for wounds and infections — whoa, who knows that we’d be getting skin pointers from tigers? OK, I definitely need this face mask with winter approaching.
And the best part is that the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Serum Mask is perfect for if you have sensitive skin like Lizzo. “I have extremely sensitive skin, so if I have scented soaps, it’ll break me out and make me itchy!” she said. The sheet mask is also great if you have dry or flaky skin, but it can also be used on all skin types.
Adding this face mask to my cart ASAP before it sells out!
