Megan Markle Looked Stunning for Her First Appearance as Duchess of Sussex, Obviously

After the weekend’s magical Royal Wedding, the world has been itching to see the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, make her first appearance. Tuesday morning, Meghan did just that as she debuted as an official ~royal~ at the Prince of Wales’ 70th birthday celebration in Buckingham Palace.

Meghan mingled with party guests in a pastel cream-colored dress from British fashion label, Goat (which was so loved by the public, the Goat fashion website actually crashed with everyone wanting to buy it). Her silk-chiffon Flavia dress was charming with its dainty mesh sleeves and straight pencil skirt, paired the number with sheer stockings and matching creme colored heels. In traditional royal style, Meghan topped it off with a Philip Treacy dome hat, tilted to the side to reveal her beautiful profile. UM, honestly, we cannot gush enough.

Going beyond her effortlessly elegant look, Meghan has already taken the world by storm with her passion for social justice and intelligence. According to Brides, the birthday celebration comes more as a socially sound event as it specifically celebrates the Prince of Wales’ charity work thus far (his 70th birthday is actually another six months away!). Meghan and the rest of the Royal Family conversed with charity coordinators at the event, getting acquainted with all the people who made contributions possible.

With all these changes she’s bringing to her newfound royal position, we’re excited to see Meghan transform both the fashion realm and the realms of social change.
