These Summer 2023 Haircut Trends For Long Hair Are On Point

I adore nothing more than sweet summertime, with the hot weather, sun-kissed skin, days spent by the pool, and schoolwork out of sight. The only thing on my mind these next few months is what I am going to do with several inches of hair on my head to set the tone for summer 2023.

If you are a long-haired girlie like me, you know how difficult it is to get a stylish haircut without cutting too much length from your hair. I have worked for years to grow my hair to the length it’s at, and I am so terrified when I sit in the stylist’s chair, I pray my trim won’t put me in a spiral.

On the other hand, my hair also needs some sort of dimension or pop to it – leading me to research the best and trendiest haircuts for long hair to rock this summer. Here are some to try if you’re working to avoid throwing your hair in a bun any chance you get.

Face-framing layers

If you don’t want a super extreme change, or don’t want to risk cutting too much off your hair, face-framing layers are the way to go! This way, only the front layers of your face are trimmed, and they’ll give dimension to any face shape while keeping the rest of your hair long and untouched.

Long layers

If you are obsessed with the ‘90s blowout looks, long layers are meant for you! Long layers give your hair a bouncy and voluminous look that is to die for! Before embarking on this hairstyle, make sure you know how to style your layers yourself, so you can always achieve that blowout look.

Full-Fringe bangs

Long hair with full-fringe bangs has become one of the trendiest styles in 2023, and for good reason! Full fringe adds a dramatic touch to your overall look, and brings attention to your gorgeous face.

Curtain bangs are perfect if you are new to experimenting with new trendy cuts and layers. They flatter any face shape and grow out gracefully. Plus, these bangs will give your hair more texture, and allow you to experiment with new hairstyles!

Feathered Layers

Feathered haircuts focus more on the ends of your tresses. Feathered hair is a hairstyling technique that was popular in the 1970s and the early 1980s. It was designed for straight hair. The hair was layered, with either a side or a center parting. #candicemohan #celebrityhairstylist #hairgoals #newyork #miami #trinidad #Guyana (868) 701-8980 #fyp #xyzbca

If you want a more dramatic look, feathered layers give you bouncy and choppy layers all over, and usually are paired with face-framing layers to bring attention to the face. This hairstyle gives your hair a natural texture and volume while keeping your long hair lighter without cutting off too much length!
