This Summer’s 5 Hottest Nail Polish Colors

One of the best parts about the summer season is that your brightest wardrobe options can finally come out of hibernation. Fun, loud colors come naturally with summer heat as clothes become skimpier and layering becomes less practical. Statement shades allow you to be creative with your look without having to rely on several items to make your outfit interesting. One of the easiest ways to spice up any outfit is by painting your nails a vibrant shade, so give it a go with these 5 nail polish colors that’ll make your summer even hotter:

Bright Blue

AnnaLynne McCord knows the power of blue. Take it from her and try out this bold shade for yourself. I suggest this blue polish from Orly, available at Amazon for $5.

Soft Grey

For those of you like Mena Suvari who prefer a darker shade, don’t fret. Just because black might be a tad too intense for the summer sun doesn’t mean that you can’t keep your nails dark with a more appropriate shade of grey. I suggest Essie’s Merino Cool, available at SkinCareRx for $8.

Hot Pink

Hot pink nail polish has been around for a while, but Jessica Alba knows how to revamp this retro shade. Some things never go out of style, so I suggest O.P.I.’s That’s Hot, available at Amazon for $6.

Neon Yellow

McCord is at it again with this fierce shade of neon yellow — she just might be this season’s polish pro. I suggest China Glaze’s Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, available at Amazon for $6.

Natural Beige

If AnnaLynne McCord is this season’s polish pro, then Jessica Alba must be her sidekick. Whoever said nude nails were boring never saw Ms. Alba rock them. I suggest Mac’s Abalone Shell, available at eCrater for $20.
