You Can Now Get Jeans that Charge Your Phone

Stop everything, because you can now buy jeans that will charge your phone. No, this isn’t some elaborate ruse from a 3 a.m. infomercial.

May we introduce you to the #Hello jean from Joe’s Jeans? All you have to do is slide the slim, charged battery into the pocket, connecting it with a power cord. Then, place your iPhone in the secret side pocket and plug it in. For all the doubters who think this setup would make for bulky bottoms, you’ll be glad to hear these bad boys are skinny jeans. They come in four stylish washes and sell for $189—the battery is not included.

It’s a such a simple way to keep your phone from dying that we wish we’d thought of it ourselves. So we’ve rounded up 5 other clothing items we wish would charge our phones!

1. Purse

Wouldn’t it be great if your bag charged your phone while you were in transit?

2. Hat

The larger the hat, the bigger battery, the better the charge. Nobody thought it sounded crazy when Abe Lincoln did it.

3. Jacket

Pockets = the perfect hiding place.

4. Swimsuit

We need our phones at maximum battery power when we’re Instagraming our beach adventures. Of course, we’ll have to figure out how to waterproof our devices first.

5. Bra

Let’s be real, our phones spend enough time in our bras to make this a necessity.

Would you buy clothing items to charge your phone with, collegiettes?
