Level Up Your Studying Game With These Crystals

Finding the motivation to sit down and study, especially around midterms and finals season, can be an ordeal. As college students, we sometimes carry more pressures than we can bear — whether that’s a part-time job, an academic load, extracurricular activities, or just interpersonal affairs, balancing a healthy college life can seem impossible. And once you’re seated down at your desk to study, all of these draining emotions can clog your mind.

Luckily, crystals are here to help. They are more than just pretty rocks, though — crystals can help elevate your mindset, and some even believe that they can heal your mind and body. And while there are a wide variety of crystals out there, there are a few that can make your study sessions more proactive. Place ’em on your desk and just feel the vibes.

Black Tourmaline

This crystal shoos away negative energy, which is essential for when you’re sitting down to study. The properties of this black gem are particularly effective when studying in big environments, especially in those where many energies meet and clash. Also, it is said to protect you from electromagnetic radiation that emanates from your phone, laptop, and Wi-Fi, waves that tend to induce anxiety and stress.

Malachite

Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral that helps with clarity. It is a stone that enhances growth and can allow fresh ideas to enter your mind. Similar to black tourmaline, this crystal also absorbs negative energy and promotes balance. I’m all in.

Smoky Quartz

Smoky quartz is an anxiety and stress reducer. It can assist you with anything that hinders you from staying focused. It is a powerful grounding stone that can even help with digestion. So if you’re stressed to the point of tummy troubles (me), this is the stone for you.
