Hi Ladies!
One of my favorite things about being home for the summer is that I get to spend the days lounging around with my furry friends aka my chocolate lab Hershey and my cocker spaniel Spears (yes, after Britney Spears- I was a big fan back in my elementary school days).
Since one of my favorite things to do is to take my puppies for walks, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can workout with my favorite canines. Curiosity got the best of me and I did a little research on workouts to do with your pets! Check out what I found below!
Sit-and-stay side shuffle

While holding the leash perform a side shuffle as your pet moves with you. Repeat 10 times.
Hide and Seek Squat

Stand hip-width apart with your dog in front of you. Push your hips back into a squat and pass a treat under your leg from your left to right hand while letting your dog try to find it. Quickly stand back up and hold the treat in your left hand. Repeat 10 times.
Biking
In order to bike with your dog you’ll need a bigger breed, such a Labrador or Golden Retriever, but this is a great way to have company on biking trips.
Running
Like biking, running with your pet is a great way to keep company on long runs. In addition, your pet’s high energy will keep you going even longer!
