As college students, we have super busy schedules that we don’t have enough time to make fitness our first concern. Exercise can be extremely beneficial for not only your physical health but mental health as well. Here are a few examples of how to implement fitness into your life with minimal time!
- Walk at any time you can. Stonehill College has a beautiful and big campus that you can benefit from, so make sure you walk to class. Helpful tip, you can even leave earlier and take a longer route to get the extra steps in!
- Always take the stairs instead of the elevator.
- Make sure you limit screen time. Being on your phone can make you super lazy and take up a lot of your time throughout the day.
- If you can fit it in your schedule, do a 30-minute exercise. This can be in your dorm room, a walk, or run around campus.
- You can wear a fitness tracker to motivate you throughout the day.
- On the weekends, you can make time to go on a hike with your friends. Hikes are great for cardio and almost always have a great view!
